Vernon Nagel, Inc. is proud to support the Defiance County Landfill Phases 8 & 9 expansion project, helping extend the site’s projected operational life from 40 to an estimated 47 years. The project includes mass earthwork, grading, liner installation support, and environmental infrastructure improvements designed to support long-term community and environmental planning.

Vernon Nagel Inc. successfully delivered the Metamora Bridge Replacement Project in Northwest Ohio, improving a critical transportation route while generating over $1 million in savings. Through innovative value engineering, the team replaced the original design with a more efficient solution, minimizing risk to nearby historic structures. Strong collaboration with partners and the local community ensured a smooth process from demolition through construction.

Vernon Nagel served as the design-build contractor and project manager for a critical infrastructure initiative led by the Wood County Port Authority. The project involved constructing a modern roundabout on State Route 582 in Bowling Green, Ohio, and adding turn lanes on State Route 25 … The fast-track approach delivered $1.5 million in savings, enabled on‑time opening of the roundabout, and paved the way for two more 2025 design‑build projects.
